Can I Buy It? is designed to help you think through purchases without sending your purchase cases, moods, budgets, or savings goals to Plexiri. The app does not require an account and stores the information you enter on your device.

Who We Are
Can I Buy It? is operated by Plexiri (“Plexiri,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Can I Buy It? mobile app and related support pages.
Purchase Information You Enter
The app lets you manually enter purchase details such as item names, prices, merchants, categories, reasons for wanting an item, moods, checklist answers, waiting timers, spending guardrails, hourly wage estimates, purchase decisions, and savings goals.
This information is stored locally on your device. We do not operate an account system for Can I Buy It?, and we do not receive, collect, sell, rent, or share the purchase decision data you enter in the app.
No Bank or Shopping Account Access
Can I Buy It? does not ask for bank credentials, does not connect to financial institutions, and does not access your bank accounts, credit cards, investment accounts, transaction feeds, shopping accounts, carts, or order history.
Data Stored On Your Device
The app saves your purchase cases, timers, decisions, settings, and progress using local device storage so the app can preserve your history between launches and app updates.
You can use the in-app clear data control to remove locally stored app history from your device. You can also delete the app to remove locally stored app data according to your device’s operating system behavior.
In-App Purchases
Can I Buy It? offers a one-time Full Access in-app purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Plexiri does not receive your full payment card details.
Apple may provide us with purchase status information needed to unlock Full Access, restore purchases, support the app, comply with App Store requirements, and understand aggregated app performance.
Information We May Receive If You Contact Us
If you email us or otherwise contact Plexiri for support, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, your message, screenshots, or diagnostic details you decide to include.
We use that information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, improve the app, and maintain our business records.
Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
Can I Buy It? does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.
Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store analytics, crash reports, purchase reports, or diagnostic information depending on your Apple device settings and Apple’s policies. That information is handled through Apple’s systems and is not connected to the purchase cases you manually enter in Can I Buy It?.
Cloud Sync and Backups
Can I Buy It? does not currently provide Plexiri-operated cloud sync. If you use Apple device backup, iCloud backup, or other operating system features, your device may back up app data according to your Apple settings and Apple’s privacy practices.
Children’s Privacy
Can I Buy It? is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
Because your purchase and budget data is stored locally, protecting access to your device is important. We recommend using a device passcode, Face ID or Touch ID where available, and keeping your device software up to date.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes or when legal, operational, or App Store requirements change. The “Last updated” date above shows when the policy was last revised.
